These terms govern your use of the HomeWise Property Inspections website (homewiseinspections.ca). By using this website you accept these terms. HomeWise Property Inspections is a licensed Alberta home inspection business serving Calgary and surrounding communities.

Instant pricing and quotes

Prices shown through our instant pricing and MLS quote tools are estimates based on the information available at the time, including listing data that may be incomplete or inaccurate. A price is confirmed when your booking is accepted. If the property details differ from what was quoted — for example size, age, property type or additional dwellings — we will discuss any price change with you before the inspection. Apartment condo inspections are a flat $375 plus GST; typical single-family inspections are $475–600 GST included.

Bookings

Submitting the booking form sends your request to our Be HomeWise booking service. A booking is not confirmed until we accept it and you receive confirmation. Inspection scope, timing and payment terms are set out in the inspection agreement provided before your inspection.

Inspection reports

Inspection reports include photos and HD video and are prepared for the exclusive use of the client named in the inspection agreement. Reports are opinions of visible conditions at the time of the inspection and are not warranties, guarantees or insurance against future defects.

Free tools and website content

Our free tools — including the condo document review, red flags checker and maintenance cost estimator — provide general information only. The condo document review uses AI to summarize documents you upload; it is not a legal, financial or engineering review and is not a substitute for advice from your lawyer or other professionals. Blog articles and guides are general information for Calgary-area homes and may not apply to your property.

Intellectual property

Website content, branding, logos and report formats belong to HomeWise Property Inspections. You may not copy or republish them for commercial use without written permission.

Liability

The website and its free tools are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeWise Property Inspections is not liable for decisions made in reliance on website content or free tools. Liability for inspection services is governed by the inspection agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada. Disputes are subject to the courts of Alberta.
